The Pharmacology of Taste looks at the role of technology on our food systems. This work includes projects that utilize gastroenterology devices that record images and information from the GI tract in concert with artificial food scents, sound, behavioral neuroscience and cultural history to better understand as well as re-imagine and re-contextualize our
food systems within the influences of corporate culture and industrial food production.
I am currently in residence at Eyebeam Art + Technology Center in New York (www.eyebeam.org) and this blog will serve as a record of my research.
